Pflugerville lifts Stage 3 water restrictions
Voluntary Stage 2 water conservation
The City of Pflugerville enacted Stage 3 water restrictions in September 2019 because the source water level at Lake Pflugerville dipped to a low of 28 feet, down from 35 feet, and water consumption was at a high of 12.6 million gallons a day (mgd). The triggering conditions no longer exist. Lake Pflugerville is at 32.3 feet, and rising, and water consumption is at 6.8 mgd.
Effective immediately, residents are encouraged to limit watering lawns to twice-a-week and to resume vehicle washing at home, preferably on their designated watering days before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m. The City continues to encourage residents to use smart water conservation habits.
