No Personal Pfireworks in the City Limitsno fireworks

While Travis County does not restrict the sale of fireworks for the Independence Day season, fireworks are not permitted in the Pflugerville city limits. It is important to exercise caution to remain safe and firework free. Please note that sparklers are also considered fireworks and are illegal.

To celebrate Independence Day, the City has hired professionals to work with the Fire Department for the annual Pfirecracker Pfestival. Join us at the Pfield to watch the best fireworks show in the area!

Pfirecracker Pfestival back at THE PFIELD; know before you gofr

Come join Mayor Victor Gonzales and the City of Pflugerville in celebrating Independence Day on July 4 at The Pfield, 1440 W. Pecan. The festival includes food trucks, a kids area, live music and of course, fireworks! Admission to the festival is free. The activities begin at 5 p.m. and live music begins at 6:30 p.m. with Suede.

Know before you go:

  • We will have sixteen food trucks and vendors for you to choose from - and a covered area for you to eat in the shade.
  • Entry into the stadium and the kid's area (inflatables and face painting) are free. Pflugerville High School's Project graduation will be hosting games in our kid's area, so make sure to bring cash and help them raise money for a good cause.
  • A clear bag policy is in effect for the stadium. No backpacks, purses or bags that are not clear are accepted.
  • No alcohol or tobacco products allowed on PfISD property.
  • No umbrellas.
  • No coolers permitted inside the stadium. There is an eating area outside the stadium, or you are welcome to set up a picnic at your car. Refillable clear water bottles are permitted inside the stadium.
  • No pets. Fireworks and pets are a bad mix. Please secure your pets at home and make sure their collars and tags are on.
  • Parking is available at the Pfield. If you are walking or biking to the stadium, please cross at a safe intersection.
