Use the Recycle Center

Post Date:02/23/2018 4:49 p.m.

The city's Recycle Center, located at 15500 Sun Light Near Way #B, is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays to Pflugerville residents who bring a photo ID and current utility bill. Public Works employees staff the facility from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. to help avoid cross contamination of recyclables and control items dropped off at the facility.

The recycle center accepts appliances, brush and tree limbs, scrap metal, vehicle batteries, refrigerators and air-conditioners (limit of 2 per year per resident), transmission fluid, motor oil, anti-freeze, oil filters and tires (limit 4 per year per resident).  Items such as aluminum, cardboard and paper are accepted at the recycle center, but customers are encouraged to recycle these items curbside in their blue recycle cart. For a list of items taken at the recycle center, visit www.pflugervilletx.gov/recycle.  Commercial businesses are not eligible to use the Recycle Center.

Please don’t forget to bring a photo ID and Pflugerville Utility Bill with you when you come to recycle as they are required.
